As president and CEO of Lean Quality Systems, Inc., Sorrentino specializes in implementing new standard methods for the corporate sector and have successfully worked with more than 25 corporations in the Southern California area alone. Sorrentino and his team of highly qualified consultants are experts in quickly assessing management systems and processes, recognizing problem areas, bottlenecks, and waste. Sorrentino himself is recognized within the corporate sector as one of the few consultants who not only tells you what needs to be done, but shows you how to do it.

Sorrentino shares his expertise with the community by serving with The Engineering Society for Advancing Mobility Land Sea Air and Space International (SAE). Mr. Sorrentino has presented at numerous American Society for Quality’s (ASQ) regional and national conferences held across the United States; the Society for Manufacturing Engineers annual WESTEC conference in Los Angeles; and the local chapters of the American Welding Society (AWS) and American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.

Sorrentino has also written and published three training manuals – “ISO Joe’s Executive and Manager Overview: Understanding ISO/AS Requirements”; “ISO Joe’s The New Manager for the 21st Century: A Practical Guide to Configuration Management”; and, “ISO Joe’s Train the Trainer Series: Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations – AS9100C Quality Management System.” His book “Configuration Management: Implementation, Principles, and Applications for Manufacturing Industries” (CRC Press, October 2008) is currently available from major booksellers including Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.

Anshuman Kumar Trikha, Certified Lean Expert and ISO 9001:2008/AS9100C Consultant

Anshuman Kumar Trikha (A.K.) has 25 years of experience in continuous quality improvement, and more than 11 years of experience in teaching and implementing Lean Enterprise. He is a Certified Lean Expert and ISO 9001:2008/AS9100C consultant with experience in the areas of technical training and auditing. He uses an integrated Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma approach to eliminate waste and build quality at the process level.

Anshuman is a trainer for Lean Enterprise, Total Quality, Six Sigma, Leadership Training, Risk Management, Process Quality Management (PQM), Statistical Techniques, Kaizen and Root Cause Analysis. He is also a Lean Quality Systems Blackbelt, Certified Greenbelt and Quality Systems Auditor/Trainer.

He provides training in management development, Quality Assurance, team facilitation, and numerous programs promoting employee effectiveness, and has with numerous companies within the Southern California region including A. J. Levin Company, Inc., BD Biosciences, Fuses Unlimited, Honeywell, Liberty Engineering, TM Performance Products, and Western Saw. Anshuman has also served as an adjunct faculty member for Quality Technology at the College of Canyons, Calif., and is a distinguished guest Speaker at various Technical Trade Shows and Aviation Supplier’s Association.

He holds master’s degrees in Geology from Banaras Hindu University and California State University, Los Angeles, and bachelor’s degrees in Geology and Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University.

Omesh Trikha, ISO 9001:2008/AS9100C Consultant

Omesh Trikha provides training in management development, quality assurance, team facilitation, and numerous other programs that promote employee effectiveness. He integrates quality management systems within organizations to increase responsibility, repeatability, and dependability, and his skilled in conflict resolution, performance evaluation, the facilitation of diverse learning and building productive relationships with clients and staff.

Omesh is an energetic self-starter with excellent team development skills. His use of process mapping and flowcharting helps organizations to clearly see all their processes, so that they can eliminate waste, and realize their full potential.
His method of defining metrics helps organizations come together to achieve the same goal. By conducting and facilitating management reviews, he provides organizations with a valuable tool to measure their current status, and accomplish short-term and long-term goals. He is dedicated to building quality at the process level.

Omesh’s training specialties include ISO 9001:2008; AS9100C and AS9120; problem solving, corrective and preventive action, management review, internal auditor training, root cause analysis and cost of poor quality (COPQ); and, leadership training.

During his professional career, Omesh has integrated quality management systems and implemented ISO 9001:2000 for The Cheesecake Factory Bakery, based in Calabasas, Calif. and OEM Press Systems in Fullerton, Calif. He has also conducted and facilitated management reviews at Ansett Aircraft Spares and Services and Airhardware, both of Sylmar, Calif.

Omesh is currently completing a bachelor of arts in Business Economics at University of California, Irvine

Laurie Zagon, Secretary and Treasurer

Laurie Zagon, M.F.A. is an artist, author, a former professor of art, and founder of Art & Creativity For Healing Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation dedicated to offering art for healing workshops free of charge to hospitals and community organizations where children and their families can process abuse, illness, grief or stress.

Zagon received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University and her undergraduate degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Her paintings have been exhibited throughout the world and are featured in many prominent corporate and private collections.
